Niki is really relieved when the teacher tells her this. She even feels a bit proud of herself because she didn't actually fail the test, and she hadn't even studied! Actually Niki, you didn’t do too badly given the fact that you didn’t study. I’m sure you could’ve done better if you had studied, but these things happen. You don’t always need to have perfect results. Niki, what’s wrong? Niki explains what happened. Being able to tell the truth feels like a relief. Now that she is saying it a second time, she feels less emotional and the tears begin to fade away. Oh Niki, it must have been awful to do this test.
